Traditional/alternative healing
« on: February 22, 2008, 03:55:31 pm »
As from January 2008 a new law has been passed for traditional healing:
-herbalists
-diviners
-surgeons
who are trained in traditional ways of healing may now register at the health department and get licenses for their practices - this means that I can claim from my medical aid when I make use of these practices.

When going to the department, you will get training in writing out invoices etc...

They are those lovely folks who do traditional body alterations such as circumcision...

I would imagine so (seeing as though it does fall into those categories). That would be a great way to attract customers.

I think you'll have to come into contact with the health department. (sorry, I slept throughout the lecture and only woke up in the end when this was quickly mentioned)

Some of our lectures are over 6 hours in length (followed by more classes) - the average human being has the tendency to start sleeping after the first 10 minutes...
