Gauteng Get Together

So, this thread is all dedicated to the planning of a get together here in Gauteng…
if you happen to find yourself in the Gauteng area – please state when you will be available.
What time will suit whom and so on?

Yes, we are a disgrace you know!   :erm: 
The CT oukies have had many get togethers… we only had one (kinda) at PFD.

Maybe we should adopt the CT laidback-ness??  Really people… naaaa-aaahh man!
I'll bake that sinfully fattening chocolate cake again... I'll even bring that fake Cannabis incense for the smokers to smoke... I'll bake funky brownies   :0:

Okay, so even if it only materialises in 4 months... at least we're planning something.  Toss the politics and the BS aside and lets have a lekker kuier?  :!:

Any time will suit me as long as it's on a Saturday. All our get togethers seem to last well into the night. Then I feel like the living dead on Monday.

hey why wasent any one so keen in when i wanted to start a get together lol. I am all for it Bee anytime is oky for me, i dont have a life so jippeeee will be great cant wait, so i will go with the time everyone can go.

Hey hey, I was keen... I'm always keen... you'll always hear me ask "so when's the next kuier?" 
But I think with these Gauteng people, you have to check schedules, consult the stars and almost end with asking the ancestors for a date.  :lol:

I swear CT people just come up with the idea and it happens the next day... it's that easy in CT.  It's all got to do with chill-ness and laidback-ness.  No fuss is first, and then no mess...  No wonder they drive so sl...

And for the sake of curiosity, where would a KZN/mpumalanga person fit in there? :hehehe:

hehe - we're not that laid back. If it's short notice - not everyone can usually make it. So we do try plan a few weeks ahead. I don't have kids though - so my time is my own. Unless a friend has booked me for something - my week-ends are shuffle-able (my role-playing usually has to get cancelled & shopping moved to another day).

Bee that is so true, we are all to busy, life is chasing us all the time, i just think we must have a get together one a month those that cant make it, we will see you next month other ways we are never going to have a get together, am i correct or am i being stupit now? I think it will be fun then we will see one another a lot.

Technically, I'm a North West person.  So we're all platteland chill, KZN... well the sea gives off it's own chill fumes, so they're "chill" too.

Ja but you guys seem to ALWAYS have some braai or get together coming up... I'm jealous.  I might have to move to CT too.

Agreed.  Let's pick a date (preferably near pay day) and see who pitches up?  If it's just 2/3 of us, it'll be fine.  There's always a next month.
